Eric Van Sickle returns to the Redmen Rugby Program in his role as Varsity Forwards Coach. He had been an Assistant Forwards coach from 2005 to 2007.

Sickle has been a part of six consecutive first place finishes in the Quebec conference and five consecutive league championships (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010).

He played rugby for 16 years as a part of the Montreal Barbarians Club. During that time they have won 9 Club championships with Eric being the captain from 2001-2007. Eric re-entered the FRQ Super League this year with the Montreal Irish.

Eric's playing experience includes a season in Scotland where he played for the Trinity Academicals RFC. He has also represented Quebec at the senior level since 2001 and was the captain of the Senior Caribou in 2006.
