TRAINING CAMP 2011 - AUG 22
McGill Rugby welcomes all new and returning players to pre-season training, 2011. Two weeks of practice in preparation for a tour to the Classic at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. It's going to be an exciting new season, but first some important housekeeping:
ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER BEFORE SETTING FOOT ON A PRACTICE FIELD.
New Players and Veterans are expected to fill out these online forms prior to the start of Training Camp. If you have not filled out these forms you will NOT be allowed to practice. Please make sure you register as a REDMEN RUGBY Athlete or you will not show up as registered and it will have to be resubmitted manually (week delay). Directions on how to fill out these forms are at the bottom.
This year our rugby training camp starts August 22nd and our first meeting will be held at 4pm in the Currie Gymnasium complex. Our training camp will run Monday to Friday for two weeks with one practice a day (August 22nd to September 2nd) At the end of training camp we will travel to Dartmouth to play in our Annual Labour Day Classic Tournament against Queens, Dartmouth and Army.
McGill has asked that all athletes including newcomers fill out Athletic commitment, medical and drug awareness forms prior to training camp. They have suggested that each student commit an hour to filling out these forms especially new athletes. All forms can be found online.
In order to fill out the first two forms you must log onto Minerva and go to the STUDENT tab at the top of the page.
